another trip last March 18-21, 2019 but this time, it's for Mom's Birthday Celebration! Batanes has always been a traveler's dream destination with beautiful sights and stunning views. it's may be pretty expensive but definitely worth it. it's located at the northern tip of the Philippines, only accessible by smaller type of planes and secluded to the point that there are areas there with no wifi and no signal (ex. our hotel lol) you enter Batanes to unwind and have a social media detox which was relaxing. we booked our 3 day joiners tour around Batanes through Klook/Chanpan Tours & Services for an affordable price that already includes 3 days worth of lunch meals, van transportation, hotel pick up and drop off, roundtrip boat for Day 2 and a tour guide who gives lots of insights and stories about the places we visited. highly recommended for the full-on Batanes immersion!
Day 1 was our early morning flight from Manila to Basco, Batanes then we arrive at the hotel to relax a bit then our tour immediately starts. we were toured around the North Batan area of the island, seeing places such as the Mt. Carmel Church, Dipnaysupuan Japanese Tunnel and the Vayang Rolling Hills to name a few. we covered a lot and we got completely tired so we ended the night early because we had to wake up early the next day for Day 2! stay tuned for the next video from this trip!! up next: Sabtang Island!
